 After a terrible mimed performance on The X Factor, Britney had been billed to perform at G-A-Y.
And that's just what the over excited crowd were expecting. However, cheers soon turned to jeers and boos as Britney made the breifest of appearanced on a balcony, blew out some candles and a PA announced "Britney says hello". She couldn't even be bothered to speak for herself! Spears, the troubled star, spent just 24 hours in the UK but her comeback visit was criticised by fans as half-hearted. A spokesman for the star insisted: "She was never asked to perform".

 A court has heard that Boy George was "obsessed with spanking" a male escort during a naked photo shoot.
First he had donned chains and leather straps as "decor" while Boy George (George O'Dowd) - photographed him as part of a drug-fueled erotic shoot he had arranged at his London apartment. Audun commented "He wanted to slap my arse. He was very obsessed."
Escort Audun Carlsen, 29, told the jury at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court
that George had continuously wanted to strike his buttocks.
Audun who also alleges George beat him with a chain - revealed George forced him to put on a pair of handcuffs against his will.

 Pop star Boy George handcuffed a male prostitute to the wall and beat him with a metal chain as he tried to flee from a naked photo shoot, an east London court has been told.
The singer and disc jockey - being tried under his real name George O'Dowd - chained up Audun Carlsen on April 28 last year, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard at the start of Boy George's trial on assault and false imprisonment charges.
O'Dowd, 47, screamed "whore" as he and another man pinned the Norwegian to the floor in his east London home, the court heard. Carlsen met the singer on the Gaydar website and agreed to visit his house to pose naked for a photo shoot.

 The Irish boys have made a groundbreaking move as first Boyband to feature a gay couple in their music video. Singer Stephen Gately gets sensual with a male actor in their latest single Better.
In their new video the Boyzone bandmates can be seen getting close with girls while Stephen Gately chooses to get cosy with a man.
He told Newsbeat: “For me, it’s just me being me and I don’t think there should be a real big issue about the whole thing anyway. I just think it’s just a beautiful video and I think it works superbly for the song. I’m hoping this video will have a good, positive, all-round reaction”

 On November 15, ‘Four poofs and a piano’ will be raising money for sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) at a fundraising evening on the Richmond night of their national tour.
The ‘four poofs’ - David Roper, Stephen De-Martin, David Wickenden and Ian Parkin decided to support THT by organising a collection on the night. There will also be a raffle with the star prize being a night out with the four poofs.
As well as the Richmond gala evening, fundraising collections for THT will be held at the ‘four poofs’ performances in Colchester, Telford and Swansea. On the other nights of the tour the boys Christmas single will be given out in return for a donation to THT.

 Former Mr Gay UK, Anthony Morley, accused of killing and preparing to eat another man has a brush with Dannii Minogue in his past.
He was photographed with his arm round Minogue the night he won the Mr Gay UK title in 1993.
Pop singer Dannii, now a judge on UK television show The X Factor, was in her early 20s when the snap was taken at the Flamingo club in Blackpool.
