Police in South East England have accidentally encouraged residents to visit a website offering links to hardcore gay pornography and police strippers.
The Sussex Police force were trying to promote their Operation Beat Sweep, a programme to tackle anti-social behaviour from gun crime to grime on a leaflet.
But instead of recommending residents visit their website www.sussex.police.uk, they printed the website address as www.sussexpolice.co.uk, a domain name owned by an unrelated party that utilises it to promote links to gay porn websites.
